Brief Background

Nessa joined the Law Faculty at Victoria University in 2008. She has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law from University College Cork, Ireland, and a PhD in Law from the University of Otago.

 

Her doctoral thesis focused on rights of criminal procedure in the youth justice family group conference, and youth justice continues to be her primary research interest. She also teaches and researches in criminal law.
